People are calling for AI and algorithmic decision making processes to be more plublic and transparent. But what does that really mean and how to you get the public to actually look, listen, and care?

Using entertainment as an important cultural tool, the GAN NETWORK proposes an augmented ‘reality tv show’ that exposes artificial intelligence decision making processes to humans (*in an entertaining way :) The show uses an object recognition model’s confidence rating to generate a high and low or good and bad episodic drama. An intermediary host bridges the gap between the machine and human, helping to decode the machine generated spectacles.
